OPEN CALL AUDITION ITINERARY for AUGUST 22 - WHAT TO EXPECT
- The open call will consist of 2 eliminations that will include a FREESTYLE round and a Hip-Hop CHOREOGRAPHY round that will be taught by Choreographer Julie Johnson that day.
- This is a CLOSED audition. No spectators will be permitted to stay during the audition.
- A maximum of 45 finalists will advance to the invitation only callbacks being held on August 23 and 26. More details specific to the callbacks will be distributed to the finalists at the end of the open call. Callback candidates will learn additional choreography for evaluation and participate in a panel interview.
- Please attend in performance ready, but comfortable dance clothing that will allow you to perform different styles and tricks/tumbling (if applicable).
- Feel free to showcase your style and personality through your audition attire.
- Must be 18 years of age or older by the open call audition date. No exceptions.
- Must be available for team rehearsals on Tuesdays from 7pm-10pm and Sundays as scheduled from mid-September 2023 through May 2023.
- Must be available to work scheduled home games during the 2023-24 Orlando Magic season and available to arrive as early as 3pm for pregame rehearsals.
