The best place to start is by looking at recipe correspondence. You can also take cookbooks you already have, and use sticky notes to mark the ingredient correspondences. I think that’s always a great place to start. I feel the best way to learn something as a beginner is to read, so when I first started out, that’s what I did. You can start with simple recipes with things you probably already have in your cabinet. There’s a lot of wonderful information on the internet and Tumblr about it!
