In the world of witchcraft, the moon plays a crucial role. Moon phases are believed to have a significant influence on various magical practices and rituals. Each lunar phase is said to possess its own unique energy and vibration, which can be harnessed by witches to manifest their desires and intentions. The first phase of the moon is the New Moon. It represents new beginnings, fresh starts, and setting intentions. It is the perfect time for witches to sit down and plan their magical workings for the upcoming lunar cycle.

Rune for sending back to the original sender

It is the perfect time for witches to sit down and plan their magical workings for the upcoming lunar cycle. During this time, candles are often lit and spells are cast to attract positive energy and bring about new opportunities. Next, we have the Waxing Crescent, which is a time of growth and development.

The current state of Double Up

The last set release is, in my mind, devastating for Double Up since all the "party" mechanics are almost gone. Sure, the game has to be balanced in all tiers of play; however, the last changes ruined it for nearly everyone in diamond and below, or at least so is my feeling.

What do I mean by that?

I've been playing double up since its inception in 11.23, so I can assume what It was meant to be and what it is now. Double Up was created for players to play in parties of 2 and help each other build their dream compositions. It also featured a somewhat different ranking system from the rest of TFT. Double Up was never meant to be the PRO version of TFT; it was meant to be a casual and friendly version of the game where you could play with your friend. As a game designer, I look at problems differently, and the dev team messed this one up. You can have a ranked version of TFT; however, changing a casual game mode to a ranked one is not great.

The bad design

Let me start by saying that I do appreciate the work of the TFT dev team; they are great; It's just this one thing they missed; also, let me be clear that this only affects Double Up. Now onto the wrong design choices.

First and foremost, the removal of sending items to your friend - this change alone changes everything about this game mode. Sending items is sometimes even more crucial than sending champions; the inability to do so breaks the "party" immersion since you can no longer help your friend build that blue buff. I can see why they did It; however, as I said, Double Up was about something else. If some people abuse sending items in Master+, let them have it; in the end, they are just using your systems differently, in a way that you may not have seen.

Now about sending champions. This, along with sending items, was the crucial difference between TFT and Double Up; it almost split the game into two completely different games. I liked the last season the most, you got three champion senders, and that's It, 1x level 3 and 2x level 5. You could strategize about sending that tier 2 champion or keeping the champion sender in case you get some item that your teammate may need. This season again made it almost obsolete, you get 1 level 5 champion sender, and that's it. You can send just one champion in a ~35-minute game. This again breaks the "party" immersion I talked about. It makes you play almost alone.

Of course, there is still helping each other regarding the board; you can win fast and help your teammate. However, your help in terms of items and champions is almost zero, unfortunately. All of the building your composition together fantasy is gone. These two changes make it so dull to play the game mode. It should be fun, not just waiting for your friend to help you destroy the enemy board.

What would I change?

I'd bring back the ability to send items because the inability to do so affects a much more significant portion of the player base than the "abuse of sending items" did. I'd also bring back at least one champion sender, be It a level 3 or 5, since the mode was made to be played together, not alone.

I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts about this matter.

Witches may focus on spells and rituals that promote personal development, career advancement, or nurturing relationships. This phase is ideal for setting goals and taking action towards achieving them. As the moon continues to grow, we enter the Waxing Gibbous phase. This phase amplifies the energy and intentions set during the previous phases. Witches may choose to perform divination rituals or focus on honing their psychic abilities during this time. They may also work on spells for abundance and prosperity. The Full Moon is perhaps the most well-known and powerful phase of the lunar cycle. It is a time of heightened energy and heightened magical potency. Witches often gather under the light of the full moon to perform powerful rituals, such as spells for manifestation, healing, or releasing negative energy. The Full Moon is also associated with heightened intuition and spiritual awakening. After the Full Moon, the moon begins to wane. The Waning Gibbous phase is a time for reflection, introspection, and letting go. Witches may perform rituals to release negativity, break bad habits, or banish unwanted energy. This phase is an opportunity to cleanse and purify one's energy to prepare for the next cycle. The Waning Crescent phase represents the final stages of the moon's cycle. It is a time for rest, reflection, and preparation for the new moon. Witches may engage in practices to connect with their intuition, receive guidance from their spiritual allies, or practice dream work. Understanding and working with the moon phases is an essential part of witchcraft. It allows witches to align their intentions and energy with the natural rhythm of the universe. By harnessing the unique qualities of each phase, witches can enhance the effectiveness of their magical workings and deepen their connection to the divine..
