Fredonia State mascot Mike Blue Devil will face off against Coby T. Tiger of SUNY Cobleskill in the opening round of SUNY's 2014 Mascot Madness Competition. Mike is seeded 18th in the field of 43 mascots. Coby comes in as the 15th seed.

In celebration of this year s USOPEN Tennis Championships, five FIT student-designed gowns were created and put on display around New York City, as a part of a contest sponsored and inspired by IHG Hotels Resorts and Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

- John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the "New Orleans voodoo doll". The quality of the materials used was very poor and it didn't even resemble a voodoo doll. The stitching was uneven and there were loose threads everywhere. The spell book that came with it was a joke, with poorly written instructions that made no sense. Overall, it was a waste of money and I would not recommend it to anyone.
- Susan - 1 star - The "New Orleans voodoo doll" was a complete scam. It promised to bring love and prosperity into my life, but all it did was cause me more trouble. Ever since I started using it, things have gone downhill. I've had arguments with my loved ones, lost my job, and just overall bad luck. I followed the instructions carefully, but it didn't make any difference. I am extremely disappointed and regret purchasing this product.

The instructions were unclear and the doll itself felt cheaply made. I tried using it a few times, but nothing changed. My financial problems persisted and I wasted my money on a useless item. I would not recommend this product to anyone who is looking for genuine help with their problems.
